What are you trying to do?

An offroad vehicle crossing a rocky route in rainy weather.

Get a stranded vehicle moving

Choose a winch point, jack or plank, budget portable anchors, and know when to return to a cabin.

Finish a route with your convoy

Each driver needs their own checkpoint completion. Helping a friend does not automatically share an unlock.

Find the Niva-like vehicle route

Use the Gimli Ridge map and Elvis Ridge landmark instead of searching every abandoned car.

New to over the hill?

In over the hill, start with a short route from a known cabin. Use low gear for controlled climbing, keep a recovery tool available, and return before you exhaust your options. In online co-op, every driver must reach their own checkpoints; being beside a friend’s reward is not the same as completing the objective.

Browse all task guides. Use the search in the header to find anchors, checkpoints or Gimli Ridge. The linked guides contain launch-specific boundaries, not a claim of first-hand playtesting.
